What’s The Plan?

I do think it’s important to have plans.

Having plans are a good way to focus the mind on worthwhile activity – as long as it is worthwhile activity.

I am very grateful for another twelve months blogging. My interest in doing it has increased in recent months and I plan to maintain this. Of course I want to grow and expand in what I do here. This year has seen me be disciplined a great deal more to schemes and themes of blogging, whether the series of tens in October or the G blogs in July. Throughout the year the various disciplines have been hugely helpful for creativity and commitment to consistent output.

In the near future, the plan is to do more Bible Study on here albeit in brief form. The plan also hopes to have more guest blogs and interviews with others.

There are other plans afoot to focus on Kingdom business and encourage and enable others to be about the business too. I recognise that my passion is words, my desire is that these will be utilised more to record, reflect, review and revise what takes place in doing the things I am supposed to do. This includes my family life, my place of work, the local community of grace to which I belong and wider concerns that fall into my remit of responsibility.

2014 was the year to excel. There is fruit of that experienced in areas of my life. It is certainly not the intention to ease up on that. The plan is to embed that in all the areas mentioned. The plan includes expanding in certain areas and I look forward to the relationships that will be deepened to assist with this.

Wrapped in all this is the plan to be fruitful by being faithful. Allowing my trials to be the tracing for my training. To be shaped by the practice that determines whatever preaching taking place. The plan is for the character of Christ to be in evidence more as the practice takes place.

The plan is to enjoy life and be able to help others do the same. The hope is that in that innovative ways of living will help broaden people’s understanding of who God is and seek Him in every part of life.

The plan is to be closer and deeper in Christ as evidenced in my conduct. The plan is to see His will done on earth as it is in heaven.

That is the plan.

For His Name’s Sake
Shalom
