DMCD Songs: I Want To Love You – John P, Kee

What an abused word ‘love’ is.  We apply to talk about cars, clothes, pets, food (chocolate is excepted, it’s good to love chocolate), people we’ve hardly ever seen and of course for the mother-in-law (blame Les Dawson for that one).

That is why of the defining attributes of God it is reassuring to know that He is the definition of love.  God is love and love is God.  If it’s not in line with godliness, then it’s not love, likewise if it’s not loving then it’s really not of God.  That can be hard to fathom when certain things take place, but it doesn’t negate the remaining fact that God is love.

So with his love poured in our hearts it’s only natural that we should desire to love him more and more as JPK so brilliant conveys in this song.

For His Name’s Sake

Shalom
