I am not sure if there is a more important social structure than the family. Some may argue the church, but that can be seen in the light of church is always meant to be like a family. How do I relate to God? As my heavenly Father. How is Jesus referred? The Son of God and we are his brothers. Family is crucial. Defining family, though, well that is not as simple as it appears as these responses bear out. One thing for sure, that any misunderstanding of this issue will have huge repercussions for individuals and communities as a whole.
