She Is A Very Special Woman

I don’t believe that all human beings are the same.

I’m sure there are similarities that many share, but there’s something that makes each individual unique. As a result, there are some that are more significant than others. That’s certainly the case for me.

The most significant woman in my life celebrated her birthday recently. She’s a very special woman to me.

I admire her heart for God and desire to serve others. She has a strong character that looks to help people make the best of themselves. She’s done that for so many others and she’s poured her life out for her children to that end. Whatever can be questioned, one thing that remains beyond question is tht desire to see others do well. This makes her a fiercely loyal friend. Such is her tenacity in her commitment to friendships that those who benefit from her friendship are supported to the hilt under all circumstances – sacrificially so in many cases.

Her birthday might mark progress in time but she remains ever youthful in her outlook and ability to connect to others. The age certainly isn’t reflected in visage and that vitality is a remarkable aspect of who she is that I am certain will keep her going. That and the grace that she’s received from God to approach many of her quests with enthusiasm.

That youthful approach also informs how she deals with learning. Thoguh she’s so advanced in her teaching gift, she humbly grafts in learning more and more how to excel in her area. She is not one to coast and rest on her giftings at all. She understands the precious nature of being gifted and making the most of it to return to God all the profits that come from interacting with others to bless them and be blessed by others.

People are better for knowing her, for engaging with her and experiencing all that there is to see in a woman who made it her point of duty to submit to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. That attractive aspect of her is what continues to draw me to her as a friend, as a sister in Christ and crucially as my wife. I give God thanks and honour Authrine Dryden for the very special woman she remains to me today.

For His Name’s Sake

Shalom

  1. No doubt you bless one another, Chris. That’s true for every marriage made in heaven, and every friendship made there too! So I bless you as you walk through life togther. Grace and peace in you both, and between you always.

    1. I am humbled and honoured by this, Chris. Authrine was tremendously blessed by this also. Thank you so much.
