We Are Marching Together

They always look to see how they can divide us.

They know that if they can get us out of step with each other it will cause critical vulnerabilities. They know that the best way to bring about defeat is not to attack us directly, it’s to see if they can sneak in and sow discord between us. They will drop hints about who is favoured over others. They will suggest that one is neglected in particular. Their methods are numerous because they know the battle will be theirs before we’re on the battlefield if they can divide us.

That’s why we make it our point of duty to march together. In step with each other, appreciating the strides and the lengths we can take. In step with each other, adjusting to the needs of others in the joint effort to progress together. In step with each other, bearing the weaknesses of each other and thriving on the strengths likewise. In step with each other so that when one falls, we are swift to help them recover. In step with each other so that there’s trust for each other in every situation. Such a strong trust that their efforts at division only reinforce our solidarity.

For we are marching together.
