I love reading scripture with others. Whether they are outstanding orators and dramatists or those struggling in their reading. I love it because through it – just the reading of it – I get so much more than just reading it by myself.
There’s something to be said for giving that a go as a regular part of the rhythm of life for believers. Just reading it together – whatever the version. Reading it, hearing it read, picturing it as it is read. Asking questions together as we read it. Hearing questions that we may not have considered especially from those completely new to the scriptures.
It’s a practice I can wholeheartedly commend to you.
For His Name’s Sake
