When I say I discovered these truths I am by no means suggesting these were unique findings to me. Many of these are truths my parents told me and I foolishly chose to ignore them. Also just because I discovered these it doesn’t mean I have these all sussed.
So here are some of life’s lessons that forced me to face facts. These are in no particular order.
1. What you read and what you experience can be two very different things.
2. Hurt people hurt people.
3. Somethings come easy to the gifted. Most things require smart work.
4. Having a title can be used to hide someone’s inadequacies while looking to expose yours.
5. Things you have pledged never to do, you end up doing.
6. Adversity is important to find out who your real friends are.
7. Just because a person is quiet it doesn’t mean they are wise.
8. It takes much to make it, it takes much more to sustain it, it takes even more to grow beyond and it takes little to destroy it.
9. Opposition is sometimes opportunity in disguise.
10. Human nature has not changed all that much, it’s just the extras that are repackaged.
