Following Jesus On My Own?

Following Jesus is a challenging pursuit, but it is so worthwhile.

I am convinced it is one that was never designed to be taken as a solo journey.

Think about it.

For His Name’s Sake

  1. I agree entirely. As one who was extremely independent in my former life, even vowing never to live with anyone again. I now live in community with two other women of God and am extremely involved in my church family. Do I find it challenging…continually, it is easy for me to do solitude. But, I cannot imagine how anyone gets transformed outside of fellowship.
To say we don’t need each other is to say we don’t need God as He operates through us. As brothers and sisters in Christ, we not only love each other and care for each other but we’re here to protect one another, looking out for one another, challenging one another.
Fellowship is the only way I get to grow in grace and see the fruit of His spirit grow in me and pour through me. I’m in awe of His strength in my weakness. It also helps me to remain humble, knowing people need grace and patience with me just as much!! I’m truly thankful they are!! 🙂
