Steven Silvia. Never heard of him. Yet he puts together this beautiful evocative video mentioning the simplicity of a prayerful life that says who do I have, who am I without God? And answers, I am nothing. Thus God is all and everything. That simplicity, that memory, that focus and that desire to pursue all that we have is a great way to pray and it fills everything – it fills that intercession for a loved one. It fills that request for some area of the personal life. It’s no longer a little issue about me, it’s about believing in Jesus being everything and so caring about the mundane as well as the magnificent.
Steven Silvia. Never heard of him, but I’m grateful that he’s put this together to remind me of the simple heart of prayer.
Whom have I, but You?
For His Name’s Sake
