You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet. (Matthew 5:13) Who are you? Seriously, do you know who you are? Evidently for Jesus it was important that […]
Read More What Is Salt Without It’s Saltiness? You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good […]
Read More A City Set On A Hill – A Lamp On A StandAs a boy my interests were in reading and football. In that order. It helped then, that one of my favourite things to read about was football. Of course I watched it as well. I wanted to be like two players – John Barnes and Peter Beardsley. They played the game in an exciting way […]
Read More Someone Better Down The RoadRecently I had the privilege of sitting with some very wise and sound brothers. It is a true story that I do well when I sit with some very wise and sound brothers. Among other things, they pointed me to a particular scripture. Read More The Assistant and the ApprenticeThis is a part of my story. It’s not the whole story, but it’s a part of it. I was brought up in a loving Christian household. Read More Who Is This All For?There is doing a job because you have to and living a life because you love to. I really enjoy football. (Yeah it’s football, we call it football, you can call it soccer all you like, it is a game played with a ball predominantly moved by the foot and so football is a fitting […]
