A few of us are going through the book of Romans. Yeah. That’s right. Thanks for your prayers.
In going through this letter from Paul, I am caught up with the beautiful outline of the love God expresses for us. A love that reconciles and a love that saves.
How great the Father’s love for us in that while we were His enemies, He made a way for us not just to be friends, but to be family. That’s awesome.
Further still, not only did He deal with the relationship problem, He dealt with the condition that perpetuated the problem. How He dealt with it is the reason why I can’t rely on myself.
Thank God that where sin was, grace is greater. Where problems persist, grace is greater. Where injustice threatens, grace is greater. It’s no excuse to sin, but it is a great truth that helps us on the path to overcome sin.
For His Name’s Sake
Shalom
