God creates us to develop fellowship with Him and each other. We love each other as we’re loved by God and as we see how the Father loves Jesus Christ, the Son.
At the same time, He lets us know that we are not to find our primary trust in people. We should rely on God and God alone. Anything else is worthless. It doesn’t always feel worthless at the time. It is afterwards, especially in comparison with what is of great value.
