Connecting with something or someone is about what we believe about the something or the someone. Trust in Jesus is about having faith in who He reveals Himself to be. Faithful, loving, forgiving, encouraging, reliable, concerned, wise, and righteous. Consider those qualities. Consider them in the One we trust in.
Contemplate each of those qualities. See them fulfilled and embodied in Jesus Christ. That’s a good reason for the blessed assurance.
