Good Stuff From the Blog in 2025

Personally the year has been a fascinating one from the first quarter to the last. Tracking it through what I post on this blog you wouldn’t detect those issues and it;s intriguing reading those posts and knowing what I was going through at the same time.

That is to say, I am grateful to God that in all seasons of the year, in the good and the bad, He has still seen it fit to instruct and inspire me to type words on a laptop and publish them here. The reason why each entry ends with a signature is that whatever is published here is done for the honour and glory of God.

That can be the case, and it still can be true that some entries hit in different ways than others. Here’s a selection from across the year on this blog.

  • Fruit: It’s What He Expects (26-01-25) A marvellous exploration of what God looks for from those who live for Him and serve Him.
  • A Flourishing Life (02-02-25) This takes on the intriguing challenge of painting a picture of what God defines as the life He provides who trust Him.
  • OTKC 05: Let Your Shine (09-03-25) Obeying the King’s Commands was at the heart of the year’s blogging, this does a great job in looking at letting light shine.
  • Why The Tears? (25-05-25) This was a fascinating insight into why tears are an important part of the expression of life in Christ.
  • OTKC 16: Lay Up Your Treasures in Heaven (01-06-25) Jesus speaks so we can understand and apply what He instructs; this one has big implications.
  • OTKC 17: Seek First the Kingdom (08-06-25) This command is pivotal to truly understanding what it is to follow Jesus.

Those were some of the good stuff from the first half of the year. And the second half produced some more beauties

This is just a snapshot of the material that has made it a pleasure to do what God has still called me to do. I trust that it will continue and grow as He sees fit.

For His Name’s Sake
