20 for 20 #12 Into the New

I love history a lot. It’s one of the reasons I love the Bible so much because of its expression of the story in the past as well as the future. It’s great.

At the same time, I appreciate that I don’t live in history. Every day is a new day with new opportunities to know more about how to live. Then there are times when a season of life comes to an end and a new one begins. That new chapter won’t disregard what’s happened before, but it is an expression of something different.

20 years have seen a lot of changes in the world and in my life. It’s been noting some of those changes and reflecting on the issue of embracing the new as a humble way of depending on God to help on the path He sets.

For His Name’s Sake
