There is what God does, and there is what humans mimic. Humans mimic so they can have their own grasp on something, but their refusal to acknowledge God’s definition means they will never express the concept as it’s meant to be.
It takes a while to absorb the difference. You’ve been conditioned to see the human definition as the truth. This is why faith in Jesus is so important. To see Him is to recognise what the truth looks like.
