Dryden Shorts: No Mercy?

The uproar. The outcry. How could they do such a thing?

Do you have the facts? Nope. Do the facts matter? No. They did it! An example must be made of them! We’re not having that sort with us.

No quest to understand. No bridges built for restoration. No compassion shown. No. Simply a stance made and an outrage only assuaged with the strongest form of punishment available. That will show them.

God help us if that’s our attitude when He comes to judge us.

For His Name’s Sake

Shalom

C. L. J. Dryden

  1. It’s important to seek facts and understanding before passing judgment. Building bridges and showing compassion can lead to better outcomes.
