When God put man in the garden, it was to see it flourish. Working and keeping the garden was to have the responsibility to see an environment with beautiful looking trees with wonderfully tasting fruit be managed well so that from a foundation based on God it would be formed to function well.
Though man turned his back on God, the invitation to return is one that gets us back in touch with that responsibility.
Let’s hope we don’t lose sight of that.
