He spoke very well from the podium. Lovely voice, eloquent with words, he really sounded the part. There was, however, the issue of what he was like away from the podium.
That was in contrast with someone who wasn’t as charismatic in his speaking from a platform but in those one-to-one settings and those conversations around the table and his heart to serve.
The man on the podium stopped speaking for a while to learn from the other fellow.
It’s good to speak well, it’s better to be well.
