Dryden Shorts: We Need God

The implicit suggestion is that you don’t need God.

Useful though a conception of Him is for when people are suffering for observers to offer vague sentiments to, beyond that there is no need for Him. This was the first suggestion that led to rebellion. That rebellion plunged humanity into varying expressions and degrees of inhumanity.

The suggestion is a lie.

The truth remains that at every stage of life, we need God. Not just for times of desperation and helplessness. All the time for everything.

We need Him.

For His Name’s Sake

Shalom

C. L. J. Dryden
