Dryden Shorts: Plans, Prayer, Perspective and Praise

When plans don’t work out, prayer and praise help to bring about a proper perspective on God’s purposes.

Praise in the Creator whose plans prevail. He puts us on the right track as we prayerfully look to Him in the disappointments and setbacks.

Praise is not the neglect of the pain and frustration. Prayer and praise rightly prioritise God. We throw our care on Him as we acknowledge His care for us.

In the pain, we need the perspective to remind us of those priorities that promote the praise.

For His Name’s Sake

Shalom

C. L. J. Dryden
