Dryden Shorts: Get On The Right Train

There was a clear desire to aggressively sort things.

It didn’t take long, however, to see that the best approach was to check the dynamic in the group. It was good that I took a step back from doing what I first thought. Seeing people and their hurts; desires to express themselves and check their emotional temperature shaped how a word of encouragement was far better than the first train of thought.

It didn’t derail the train, it just said that it would ride from the station at another point.
