Dryden Shorts: When The Sequel Is Better …

Where the first one is better than the second one.

It’s tough because what made the first one so good is etched in the minds of those who enjoyed it. You have to do something really special to make the sequel that much better.

On the surface that appears really hard. What helps to achieve this is when there’s new impetus injected that makes the second superior.

When the new life is better than the old, that’s when the sequel beats the original.
