Dryden Update: Fellowship, Feasts and Going Forward from February

Hello.

My name is Christopher. I am the one who puts words on this blog. Most of the time.

Among other things, I love food in good company. I am thankful for February because there were a lot of highlights of enjoying food in good company. A lot of the time, though, that food was about doing and being what was pleasing to God. Praying, serving, studying the word together, supporting each other in various aspects of life and seeking opportunities to be a blessing to those in our spheres of influence.

This is the platform that allowed guest articles to be a part of the blog this month. Through the opportunities to engage in loving fellowship with each other, February has seen outstanding blogs on fellowship from Marlene Wray and Shirley R. Evans. The big takeaway from the exploration of fellowship in February is just what a wonderful thing it is when brethren live together in unity with a purpose to work with God for His Kingdom to be evidenced among us and on display beyond us.

It’s that aspect of the rule of God beyond us displayed in the mission we’re on and the message we have to share that will shape some of the blog material going forward. For the time being, it’s worth witnessing again the beautiful unity of the Godhead and see how we’re invited into that divine dance to play our part by truly reflecting His image on the earth.

Thank you for reading the blog, thank you for your prayers to support this blog. It means a lot. Just as the engagement, sharing and interaction mean a lot. It’s the sort of thing that reminds me that the purpose of the words is to be a blessing to others so they too can partake in this great life-changing fellowship.

That’s something worth making a meal of.
