What A Fellowship: Fruit

There are the ingredients. There are the measurements. There is the equipment. There are instructions.

The dangers are to ignore the instructions, neglect the measurements, misuse the equipment and forget the ingredients. Those dangers range from sloppy and shocking food preparation to potential food poisoning. It is certainly not the recipe for a great culinary experience.

Sound simple and straightforward. They are issues that safeguard places and processes of food preparation.

It’s a pity similar care isn’t taken about the way relationships can operate in partnerships that provide companionship as the basis for stewardship. It’s a pity that similar care is not applied in seeing the foundation of fellowship, taking on board the factors of fellowship, guarding against the flaws of fellowship and acknowledging the merits of friendly fellowship.

It is a pity. It does not have to be that way, though. When the factors of flourishin fellowship are followed, when the flaws are rendered futile it would be quite something to see the fruit that would emerge. The joy that would bring …
