It’s a wonderful position to be in when you don’t have to worry about certain things.
As a child food was provided. Cleansing was provided. Shelter was provided. As well as that a semblance of order, structure and routine was provided. A lot of the time as it is the way of the world, there is little need to question anything.
When others come into the picture, there comes a glimpse as to how others live. The similarities and the differences. As those are processed and time passes on, a few questions pop up.
Enough can happen in life as things develop, however, to suppress the questions. Just to accept things as they are and mull your way through. Stumbling through life, ticks the boxes for a number of people. It’s just enough to get an idea of what gives brief thrills and follow what is told to be the way life works.
It does not have to be that way, though. Values can have meaning when rooted in something of an eternal nature. Not just that but also when it comes under the rule of the Eternal One.
Will the question of who rules remain of value for you?
