It’s really great to be there for someone else.
When they feel lonely or lost motivation to keep going, it’s good to be there as a presence. A presence for peace. A presence for hope. A presence for a degree of consolation.
It is one of those privileges in life to know that as someone goes through a rough patch or wander through the dark night of the soul, something about you can leave them thinking:
I’m so glad you’re here.
