Dryden Shorts: There Are Places

The noise rages. The incessant, demanding accusations and bleating look to shake and drive him insane. How does he keep going?

He goes to those places in his mind. Places where he rests in the presence of the Holy One. Places where he remembers forgiveness, redemption and restoration. Places where he revels in purpose and the ability to fulfil them with the strength the Holy One generously provides.

The raging continues, but he remains calm, by going to those places of peace.
