The best thing she did for her son was take him to the library.
There, it was as though his world exploded. It was such a big place. So many different sections. An upstairs and a downstairs too. And places where he could sit and read some of those books.
It was as he started to read just part of those books that his eyes and heart widened. Those different words, those new worlds …
