Opportunity in the Mess

When I looked the first time, it was dreadful.

There was mess everywhere and there didn’t appear to be any way through it. Everywhere seemed to be a mess.

When I looked again, I saw the need for help in cleaning up. I saw the part I played in making the mess and the part I could play in tidying it up. I saw that this was not something to be done alone but with others.

Some of the others appeared to see that things were dreadful.

Some of the others had already seen that this was the opportunity to tidy up. They invited me to join them. Then they encouraged me to  intie others who would join too.

That wasn’t easy. Especially because of what some people saw at first.

It was worthwhile, though, to be a witness to those who would take another look and see those opportunities.
