Experience is such a valuable commodity in life.
Having that degree of having done something before and knowing the highs and lows about the something in most cases makes you a valued member of any company. Indeed in some cases, organisations go out of their way to look for the proven and trusted operator on the understandiable thinking that perhaps they can bring that track record with them.
There is, however, those tracks in history where something new emerges. New and successful. New, successful and not dependent on the trusted and proven. It is because someone was able to speak into a situation and give the suggestion for something unorthodox, an approach that would not be expected and one that would utilise and channel skills and abilities in a way that had never been considered previously. Risky though that approach would be and tenuous though it might be at times, it can turn out that sticking to this alternative approach can produce even greater results than the previous proven and trusted trend.
It reiores a great deal of wisdom, bravery and boldness to embark on those new paths. It takes enduring scepticism and sometimes hostility. It takes persevering ridicule and setbacks. It takes that belief held in the hope that you present to keep going and achieve that. In so doing it proves the point that sometimes the answers for today are not found in those familiar yesterday.
Experience is a great quality to have. Wisdom to discern when it’s time for a different approach is an even greater quality for the brighter day hope points towards.
