It can happen at a random moment. It can be a significant event that triggers it.
Yet you can reach a stage where you look back on the progress that you made in life.
At one point you were in the home, waiting to be fed, looking to others for your daily needs and taking it for granted that all that you would require would come as long as you asked and waited. Others sorted things like bills and ongoing payments.
Now that time seems so long ago. If you don’t get the job you wonder where that money will come to cover those bills and to keep you going. If you don’t do it then you just don’t know how it will get done.
Yet there is something about faith in God which helps you to reflect and consider that the distance you’ve covered and be grateful. Be grateful that you have made progress and be grateful that you are still on the journey to make further progress.
