That’s great.
It is one of the greatest books ever written. The movie was a blockbuster sparking a franchise that accumulated millions at the box office. The world’s press acclaimed the remarkable feat of reaching the top of that mountain range under such challenging circumstances.
That’s great.
That’s good.
He remained faithful to his wife as she developed dementia and even when she could not remember his name, he looked after her more lovingly than ever. While others around were a part of the culture of gossip and cheating in the office, she refused to get dragged in. She was diligent at work and loyal to her company even when it mistreated her.
That’s good.
The great gets a lot of attention and the good can go under the radar. The great can receive a lot of notoriety and fame, whilst the good can be underwhelming and go unnoticed. The great calls for significant feats of human endeavour and spirit. The good can call for for signficant feats of character.
Not everyone will leave this earth having been great. There is every opportunity, day by day, for them to leave knowing they have been good.
