There’s how we think and how we feel, but if the truth be known …
If the truth be known, would we feel so entitled to give the benefit of our opinion?
If the truth be known, would we be so comfortable maintaining the status quo.
If the truth be known, would we invest so much time and energy in certain things that take up so much energy?
If the truth be known, would we really be targeting certain groups of people whilst allowing others to carry on without be held to account?
If the truth be known, would we really be ‘educating’ children with certain perpectives and approaches?
If the truth be known, would we really be so swift to make a judgement on someone while we are guilty of behaviours and attitudes just as repugnant?
If the truth be known, would we accept what is exposed about our true motives, values and desires?
If the truth be known, would we embrace the implications of it for our lives?
Or would we crucify Him as well?
