Selfishness is suffocating.
It feels good. There’s a degree of gratification in it. There’s even a thrill to it.
Yet it stifles and restricts. It is not the true path to the fullness that life has to offer.
This is why you need the love. Not just love – the love. The love that destroys selfishness in a wave of giving, edifying power.
Where the love of many grows cold, the warmth of the love that gives life is essential.
