Yeah, there’s something fulfilling about being acknowledged for any good you do.
It’s why I’m particularly keen to say thanks when I am the beneficiary of good.
Doing good, however, is something to truly enjoy knowing that God sees you. You’re doing it primarily for Him and to Him to say how much you appreciate the good that He’s given to you.
Doing good for God’s sake is a humbling and exhilarating experience. It helps get rid of any lingering malignant ego too.
