A Few Questions On Compromise

When you have to give up something you value and I have to give up something I value so that we can get along on something together, apparently that’s a compromise.

The key in the compromise is that something valued has to be sacrificed.

Follow my thinking. Among the great things we value is love. How do we sacrifice that? We value righteousness. How do we sacrifice that? We value peace and mercy. How do we sacrifice that?

As followers of the way of Jesus are there things we value more than those things highlighted above?

If those are the chief things we value because we love God, can those things really be sacrificed? And if they cannot, where is compromise for the believer?
