Groups, Teams, Families

A lot of time is spent in the workplace.

Apparently, for a lot of people, more waking time is spent in the workplace than anywhere else. So those workplaces expect the people who work there to get along as they get on with what it is they’re supposed to be doing. Groups of people together and some good rapport can develop among them. They can get into a great routine of turning up, establishing the way of conversing and then there’s the work.

As those groups of workers get into those patterns and standards of work are established, some might even get the impression that they are becoming a team.

Are they?

A man and a woman get together, they establish a rapport, a growing friendship, a closer bond and then after a while they feel it’s time they got married. The usual drama goes into the preparation of the wedding day, but once it’s done they are finally together. They can now work out how they’ll live together. Some might even get the impression that they are becoming a team.

Are they?

Why is this even such an important issue?
