What I like is when people advise you to be careful when you pull on that thread.
That’s not blatantly telling you not to pull on that thread. It’s just a word of advice to be careful when you pull on that thread.
What thread is that? It’s that thread that begins when that question you ask that’s been bugging you about something important in life, is met with a vague answer and sometimes with an ignorance far too rehearsed to just accept. It begins there – and you could take it further. It’s important to consider that approach carefully.
It’s important because the consequences of that question could be significant. It could change how you view and approach life. It could affect relationships. In all of that you could be drastically affected by pursuing that line of enquiry.
So it is important that you think carefully before you pull on that thread. Then once you’ve thought about it …
You might as well get to pulling.
