There are a variety of story-lines.
All the stories involve a degree of animosity between two parties. The reasons for the animosity can vary. It could be friendly rivalry to establish the better party. It could be hostility over offences inflicted.
Those can make for compelling stories in themselves and reason to see how the conflict will turn out.
There is one particular story, however, that is primed to take the most interest. That story is about the title. The main title. The headlining title. The one that establishes the winner as the top of the pile, the greatest there is and the prize to which all competitors aspire.
There are evidently those who oppose the path to victory. Their opposition takes on different forms and utilises various tactics. The wrestle is not just what happens in the ring. The struggle happens throughout the training, the preparation, the build-up, even the moments before the bell rings.
The battle is only worthwhile because of the prize at stake. It is the prize that keeps the focus in the struggle. It is the prize that makes the wrestle worthwhile.
What’s the prize for you?
