What Have You Got To Say For Yourself?

Surely you must have something to say.

They have accused you of being a disturbing influence and your attitude and actions have upset the regular order of things. You have not complied with the status quo. You have the temerity to challenge the system and live out an alternative that others find remarkable, but the overseers of the system are clearly unhappy about.

Now that you’re facing these claims, how do you respond?

It was very clear that the way things were going was just fine with those who benefit the most. Even if that number is a small one while the vast majority never truly experience growth. It was very clear that as long as you keep quiet and don’t say anything against them, you can carry on without any hassle. You chose to disregard that instruction.

Now when it comes to being asked directly about these things, what are you saying?

It was not just what you said and how you said it, it was also what you did to reinforce those sayings. You didn’t have to condemn or convict anyone because there you were displaying something that in itself made people uncomfortable. Not only that it posed a serious threat to the way this system operated.

Now you have the change to say something about the serious matter, what do you have to say for yourself?

What do you mean, nothing? Why are you staying silent at this critical stage?
