There are times when it is good to ask questions.
Those questions can vary in depth, but when certain things crop up, certain circumstances appear to conspire, it appears as if everything is up in the air. Nothing is grounded. Nothing is as safe as it was.
In times like that, it might appear comforting to go back to familiar patterns. Indeed when referring to that pattern that familiarity is appealing. But it is not always the best route to take. And sometimes when it’s all up in the air, it is an opportunity. A chance to grow through practising something new. Something that stretches you beyond what you were and towards who you can be. It is a stretch, though. It is a departure from what was. There are those who are still there who may warn you from the unknown. The warnings will refer to the cost and discomfort. It will refer to how ill advised it would be to leave behind that which you have become accustomed. Look at what you could lose for something you may not even be able to see.
Wisdom, however, will encourage you because it is a chance to grow. It is an opportunity to be more than you were before and be a blessing to others for the experience.
When it’s all up in the air, the uncertainty can lead to fear. But when we know who is with us in the journey, there is no need to keep the fear, but allow it to be expelled through the perfect love that keeps us moving on.
Even when it’s all up in the air.
