Trust Him – He Will Lead Us

You can trust Him – He will lead us.

He is not obliged to lead in a way for our convenience. He is not under contractual duties to lead in a way that makes those that follow comfortable and always content. He is not even morally compelled to lead in a way that we would choose or prefer.

He will lead us, though.

He will lead us on the right track. He has gone on ahead to know that the path is right and straight and will lead to the outcome that allows His followers to grow better and better. He will lead and be present as He does so. He will not endanger those that follow Him and He will protect them from the evil one.

He will do it because it is His delight to lead us. He knows where we are going and what awaits us as we reach the destination. He knows that we will benefit from the experience and share that with others.

Where we are going is so much better than where they are coming from. What we will go through will essentially turn out to be so much better than the alternative. He knows. He cares. He will lead.

The issue is will we trust Him?
