In Agreement – A March Dryden Update

February is a notorious month for how quickly it leaves.

I say notorious, there’s something about leaving February that lets me know in no uncertain terms that this year is in full swing. It’s remarkable really. This month has flown by with indecent haste. For all that, though, it was still a month of some fascinating steps in life.

Among other things I’ve had the privilege of being involved in a few really treasured gatherings of saints that have informed my faith and inspired some of the pieces I wrote during the month. It’s working out as I have loved for it to work out – there’s a conversation, that conversation motivates action, that action shapes my faith and I get to write in the light of all that. It works a lot better for me that way.

One of the highlights of February was getting to walk with some friends of mine throughout the month. There were some key areas we were agreeing on and so in prayer we would get to share aspects of what we agreed on. That exercise helped me a lot to consider the needs of others as more important than myself. Looking at the other and pouring my heart out for them got me appreciating a lot more why it’s good to be in relationship with others. It tightens bonds, lifts faith and develops a growing love for Jesus.

There’s a project I started in the month of February that triggered a desire I have had for quite a while. I have not publicised that project, though one or two other people have come across it. The idea is to go through the project continuing to keep a low profile and on its completion I hope to be in a position to share a bit more about what it was all about.

At the heart of everything remains a real passion to march to the beat of the drum that beats the rhythm of the will of God. I really want to be in line with that. I am grateful for a brilliant support network that prays where that’s concerned. It’s prayer and encouragement and whatever they need to say to help me out. That is something for which I am massively thankful.

What emerges from the month of February is a strong desire to be faithful. Thanking God for His faithfulness in my life over the month of February just heightens the desire to replicate by being faithful to every undertaking he has given me.

Meanwhile, thank you for your ongoing support and prayer. Reading the blog is something I get a buzz out of and I hope you can find more on here that’s worth your while.

For His Name’s Sake

Shalom
