We were talking about the progress she has made since she arrived in the country.
What tended to happen was she would mention something and I would help her appreciate just how much more there was to the experience that helped to shape how she’s grown in those years. Sometimes it is in looking at things from different perspectives that you appreciate the growth that took place and the reason to be grateful.
When God invites us to remember His faithfulness and righteousness, it’s an invitation to genuinely look carefully at just what He’s done and realise how much we have grown. Going through some episodes of His goodness gives a lot of reasons to be grateful.
