Hmmmmmmm … Interesting Psalm.
First part calling out to God for help. Second part with reference to the king. Talk about vows to keep as well.
There is something about this Psalm that reassures me of a relationship that’s marked by trust and commitment. The word on commitment is a tough one. Commitment is easy when it’s just about benefits. There is something powerful about commitment though, when there is that underlying trust in all circumstances especially when times get particularly tough.
My desire is to deepen the relationship with God to sing this song with the commitment and trust that this relationship is marked by.
