Psalm 60 – There Is A Turnaround

This is a fascinating Psalm because you might get the impression that the Psalmist is writing from a very tough position in his life. As it was, although there were enemies still to be defeated, this Psalm is written in arguably one of the best times of King David.

So it is something to see him to pen this piece that is about God engaging with people who may not have treated Him right. The tone of the piece is contrite and sees the character of God emerging as merciful and kind. That’s why it’s good to know that whatever our situation may be, we serve the God of the turnaround who will sort out the enemy.

For His Name’s Sake

Shalom
