What a difference a year makes.
I was a very different person who wrote the first personal update on January 2nd 2016. Different in terms of my emotional wellbeing, my state of mind and what outlook I had on life.
Today I type this in a better place. A better place in a lot of ways. A different place in a lot of ways that I definitely was not expecting or desiring. Yet it is still a better place.
