I like the concept of being being a channel of blessing.
I like it because it recognises that we are part of a flow. I am a recipient of this blessing. God has lavished His love on me, every morning I get to enjoy new mercies if I have the mind and heart to embrace it.
In the light of that reality, there is also the truth of the reason for being the blessing. It is because someone else can be a recipient of this blessing. It is not for me to just cosy up with the blessing and keep it to myself. It is to share so that through me that which God has given can bless others. In that I am a channel – the thoroughfare where the love of God flows and others becomes a recipient.
There is more to learn about being a channel of blessing. I only wanted to share a little bit at the moment.
