Fruit of the Word – It Will Produce (The Fruit Series 18)

Previously I had written on how Jesus informed those who would hear how what defiles them doesn’t come from without, but from within. The issue was an inside job, recognising what was in would soon come out.

If what what was in would soon come out, it is worth taking on the counselling offered by the Psalmist in the first psalm. Namely what marks the blessed man is how God’s law is to be found deep in him. It’s his mind’s preoccupation. It’s his heart’s full meditation. So it’s apt to produce in any given situation. Produce righteousness, produce justice, produce wisdom, produce mercy, produce diligence, produce perseverance, produce insight, produce peace.

These qualities are produced in every area of life throughout every day of life, because they reflect the God who wrote them. It reflects God Himself, so the fullness and goodness that is in Him flows through you as you are blessed by dedicating all of life to being ever deeper rooted in Him.

For His Name’s Sake

Shalom
